The UNC Greensboro School of Visual and Performing Arts wanted to make their program more accessible to the surrounding community. I led a small team of seniors tasked with transforming an empty box truck into a mobile outreach agent that could accommodate various types of installations, performances, and events.
The exterior graphics are a combination of designs representing the UNCG campus map, the Greensboro skyline, and bright, bold colors. The interior features versatile walls, track lighting, hardwood floors, a side access door, storage and a vented skylight, all of which were researched and selected by the group.
I created several promotional items, such as sidewalk banners, button badges, a booklet demonstrating the brainstorming process, and a square, quad-fold brochure that can be repurposed as a container to hold collectible exhibition cards.
The truck, which we branded as Project One Art, can be seen at events and establishments around Greensboro and across the state of North Carolina.
